Thanks to those who came out for the last show in August!

This one will be comprised of ZL regular Susie Sargent and returning guests Drew Merit and Bill Stahl, all with multiple credits around the Bay Area including Improv Marin, Un-Scripted Theater Co., Secret Improv Society, 5 Deadly Improvisers, BATS, and so on and so forth. A usual, we will be joined by our super-talented improvisational accompanist Win Meyerson.

We don’t know what we’re going to do… it’s improv! See you there when we all find out.

We’re excited to return to Occidental Center for the Arts for a show outdoors in their amphitheater. Guests for this evening will be Susie Sargent, a ZipLine fave; Jerry Ruoti, who joined us for Noir a few years ago; and Tim Orr, who performed in the very first ZipLine improv show.

We’ll be regaling you with short scenes and long, and there may be a song or two in there, so bring your fresh suggestions and made up song titles! OCA has refreshments so grab a glass of wine and settle in for a delightful evening.

ZipLine’s first show of 2020 will be a return to Spreckels!

(An evening of completely improvised Short Scenes and a "Movie")

With special guests Rafe Chase (3 For All, BATS) and Regina Saisi (Improv Playhouse of San Francisco, BATS), two of San Francisco's most beloved improv pioneers! Also with the very funny Susie Sargent (Un-Scripted Theater Co.) and ZipLine Improv founder Laura Wachtel.

ZipLine will perform short scenes and a live movie with audience suggestions to get them rolling, so bring your two cents!

We're back and thrilled to present a fully improvised tale of Passion Noir! With Bay Area guests from Un-Scripted Theater, The Trifecta and Secret Improv Society: Steven Anacker, Basel Al-Naffouri, Jerry Ruoti, Susie Sargent & Laura Wachtel.

The Passion Noir format was developed by the wonderful performer and teacher Jo McGinley of Impro Theater.

These highly skilled improvisers have wowed and charmed audiences all over the Bay Area and beyond, most recently in Germany, Holland and Norway.

JANUARY 19: Double Feature! In this format invented by guest player Rafe Chase, a cast of four players - two men and two women - create two complete long stories simultaneously over the course of the night. Jumping back and forth between realities and enacting every character in both stories, the four improvisers are on their toes creating magic right in front of your very eyes.
